During our yearly visit to our cabin in the woods on one of our hikes to the creek, Mika caught herself on some very old, worn chicken wire hidden among the brush. She let out a screech and as I got to her I immediately noticed the gashes in her hind leg. I carried her straight home to call Petzey and connected to a vet professional immediately. We video chatted and they confirmed that the chicken wire didn’t hit any vital organs or cut deep enough to cause too much worry. They advised on options to clean and heal the wound quickly so we could get back to exploring. Petzey as a resource whenever and wherever you are means the world.
